Journalist faces gendered and nationalist attacks on social media

Following the elections, journalist Kristina Demeter Filipchev, who was reporting from Kula, was the target of gender-based and nationalist attacks that included direct threats of violence. NUNS reported the attacks to VTK and condemned them in the strongest terms.

Gynaecological clinic database leaked

After an attack on a private gynaecological clinic in Belgrade, a database of female patients's personal data was published on a dark web forum. As an explanation for the publication of the database, the hackers stated that the clinic did not want to pay the ransom and thus showed that it was not interested in the privacy of its patients. The database contains data such as patients' full names, residential addresses and personal email addresses, as well as JMBG and information about diagnoses. The clinic did not take responsibility for the incident and the case has been reported to the Commissioner.
